Laparoscopy

A small camera inserted through a tiny cut near the belly button examines the uterus, ovaries, tubes, and surrounding organs to investigate unexplained pelvic pain, infertility, or abnormal bleeding. Dye may be passed through fallopian tubes to check if they are open.
